Apple Pressing with Rangers Richard and Chris

On Wednesday 9th October, young people from POINT, took part in apple pressing with Rangers Richard and Chris from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The young people collected apples from the POINT apple tree, scrubbed them clean and cut off any rotten parts (Ranger Richard also brought in some apples of his own) . They then sliced them and placed them into the apple presser. With impressive strength, the young people managed to press the apples and produce over 3 litres of apples juice! A really unusual and fun activity for the young people to try and take part in. A big thank you to both Rangers for leading this activity.
