A great joint venture between Point and Goodwick and Fishguard Community Fridge was held last Saturday night, 28th September, to say thank you to Transition Bro Gwaun and POINT volunteer mentors. Community fridge volunteers made enough grated cheese, tomato sauce and pizza dough to make 37 pizzas – at a total cost of £1.00 (for the yeast!) All the ingredients were sourced from donations of food to the Fridge and made into the finished pizzas by the young people of POINT. Gareth from Celtic Crust manned the Pizza oven and cooked each pizza to perfection – A huge thank you Gareth for giving up your Saturday evening to help out! A huge thank you to all our volunteers and to the young people who worked hard to prepare and serve delicious wood fired pizzas from our clay oven.
