The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees (currently 8) have a huge range of different educational and professional backgrounds that provide the organisation with a wealth of expertise to draw upon.  We have a trustee who has been a longstanding manager of a local Health Practice and has a lot of expertise around human resources; we have another trustee who has spent many years as a civil servant (now retired) and has served a term as a County Councillor for the local authority; We have a trustee with a background as a social worker; we have a trustee with a background in management of statutory youth provision; we have a trustee with a background in accountancy who is able to provide advice and assistance on financial management; we have a professor (Animal Care) who worked in a university and has a lot of experience of writing funding applications and general research; we have 2 retired head teachers of secondary schools who have many years of experience of working with young people. 2 of the trustees also sit on the board at the local community theatre, Theatre Gwaun. We have access to a local solicitor who is able to provide information and advice on legal issues as we require. 

Meet the Staff


Zoe Davies
General Manager

I have been working with young people for many years in a number of different support roles. I have a BA Hons Degree in Sociology and Gender Studies and a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling.

I love singing and playing the violin and I am in a local folk band called “The Skylarks”.


Katie-Marie Mitchell
Drop in Manager

I have been working with young people for the past 20 years, 16 of them at POINT! I have a BA Hons Degree in Youth and Community Work.

I hate the cold and snow is my worst nightmare! I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym and walking, while listening to Sleep Token, Bad Omens and Falling in Reverse at high volumes



Dyfan Howells
Finance Officer

I joined POINT in March 2023 as a Finance Officer and am currently in the final year of my AAT accounting studies. Beyond completion of my AAT qualification, I am looking to continue my finance studies further.    

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, hiking and watching the Arsenal games.  


Reeve Griffiths
Youth Support worker

Hi, I’m Reeve, a local from Fishguard. I used to go to POINT when I was a young person, and it’s played a big part in my life. Now, I’m proud to be working here as a youth support worker’ giving back to the place that helped shape me. I’m currently working towards completing my level 2 and 3 qualifications in youth work, and in my spare time, I enjoy socialising with friends



Zoe Aylward
Senior Youth Worker

Before going to university to study BA (Hons) In Education Studies and Special and Inclusive Education, I was a young person at POINT and carried out lots of work experience within the youth services.

I have since achieved my master’s degree in (MA) Youth Work and Social Education. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, going to the gym, going on walks and enjoy socialising with family and friends.



Lee Wright
Youth Worker

Hi, I’m Lee. I was born and bred in Pembrokeshire but moved away when I was in my youth and have lived in Cardiff, Florida and Liverpool, as well as travelling across Central & South America, before recently moving back to West Wales.
I have a First Class Honours in Youth & Community Work and have gained a lot of experience of working with young people, both in the UK and abroad. 
I love playing football and exploring new places and dislike social injustice
